A Neighbor, A Leader, An Advocate
Dan Lewandowski is a lifelong resident of Rockford. A graduate of Guilford High School, he received a B.A. from Augustana College, then went on to earn his law degree at Chicago's The John Marshall Law School.
Dan is a local attorney who practices family law. Before starting his own firm, he worked as a staff attorney at Prairie State Legal Services, a non-profit organization. Dan provided free legal services to seniors and working families, protecting their rights and fighting to make sure they were treated fairly. Dan found helping helping those in need through difficult situations rewarding, and he began to truly appreciate what his parents had taught him about community service.
After being approached by several friends, neighbors, and community advocates, Dan decided to take the next step in serving the community by running for the Illinois State Senate in the 34th District. As your state senator, Dan will work with fellow legislators, community leaders, and business owners to create jobs in the 34th District, keep our schools strong, and grow our local economy.
